If you are like me and are hesitant to put down your hooks even in Summer, this crochet pattern is for you. This Sun Suit Romper will make an adorable outfit for your little girl. After all, which little girl wouldn’t look cute in oodles of ruffles?
Please be advised that this is not meant to be a swimsuit. Make a matching pair of Flip-flops and Sun hat using Crochet Dreamz Patterns to complete the look. The baby model rocks in the matching pair, don’t you agree?
I first tried two ruffles in the front and three at the back, but after testing them on models decided to go with three continuous ruffles on front and back. The half ruffles looked unfinished.
This was one of the most tedious patterns I ever designed. There was so much testing and retesting involved before I came up with the final sizing, it was exhausting! The final product turned out adorable, so I am glad my efforts didn’t get wasted. I hope you love the pattern as much as I do.
Pattern is written in US terms.
The pattern comes in sizes Newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 2 years.
Uses G (4.25mm) hook and DK weight yarn.
The dress has a button closure and the shoulder straps are tied at the back.
