Delightful free chunky crochet throw pattern, a wonderful addition to your home decor
Curl up near the fireplace wrapped in this throw and read your favorite book. The sumptuous chenille yarn with its softness and lush texture promises to wrap you in warmth.
The lacy stitch pattern adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the chunky design. Indulge in the soothing rhythm of this 1-row repeat as you watch your favorite show.
It marks my second throw pattern using Bernat Blanket yarn, and the texture of this yarn makes it ideal for throws, in my opinion. If you are interested in seeing more crochet throw patterns, and not just baby blankets, please let me know. Your feedback is always valued and appreciated!

Tassels
Take a small book approximately 5-1/2 inches wide or a thick piece of cardboard 5-3/4″ wide. Wind yarn around the book or cardboard multiple times. Cut along one side to get multiple strands of the same length.
Take one strand, fold at the middle of the strand, pull through the edge of the blanket to form a loop, grab the 2 ends with your hook, and pull through the loop. Now tug gently to tighten the loop.
Take care not to add too many tassels or your blanket will widen out at the edges.
