This is a gorgeous crochet hat that will be perfect for fall, mild winter or Spring. The crochet pattern includes an option for a Messy bun hat as well as a Slouchy. Double the fun, right? I designed this hat with Craftsy’s Sprightly yarn and absolutely loved the results. It had the right amount of drape and thickness for this project and I plan to use it more in my future projects.
The pattern includes 4 sizes, Toddler, Child, Preteen-Adult Small, Adult Medium/Large
The pattern gives you 2 options, one to make a Messy Bun Beanie and another to make a Slouchy Hat.
The pattern is written in Standard American Terms.
The pattern uses worsted weight yarn ( size 4 medium). I used Sprightly Acrylic Wool Worsted Yarn in color Charcoal Heather.
