Artsy Crochet Bag for Your Little Girl (Free Pattern)

Share the Love!

Finished crochet bag for little girl in cream and pink colors with pink flower

This design won’t require you to be a crochet genius but will definitely put that precious curve on your little girl’s face. It works up really fast and can be added to your last minute gift ideas for this Christmas. Pattern uses Worsted weight yarn and Hooks I (5.5 mm) and G ( 4mm). An easy to work shape and simple embellishments give it that midas touch. Cute patterns don’t have to be hard at all, do they? It has a flower on one side and a bow tie on the other. Experiment with colors and make it your own. Changing the type of flower or adding a couple of leaves can also give it a new look.

This purse is adorable. I have seen many patterns that you have posted and there are so many cute ones. I am starting a new business and want to sell the items I crochet. Do you allow items made from your patterns to be sold? Once I get my blog & facebook pages up, I will post a link to your blog and give you the credit for the pattern. Please advise me on what your policy is. Thank you for your blog and all the wonderful ideas that you post.

This is such a cute design! I too was a bit confused by the pattern... where it says "1 sc into same st as ch 1". When I did what I thought it was telling me, I'd end up with too many stitches when the row was complete. I did it like I was taught and it came out to the correct number of stitches. Therefore, I'm doing whatever makes the stitch count come out correctly. Also... because I want a bigger bag, I'm adding 10 stitches to all rows. I'll let you know how that works out. Thanks for the patterns!! :)

I've just finished making one for my daughter, with a few alterations... I can't stick to a pattern, no matter how hard I try!! :)I really just changed the colour pink to lilac & the flower to red!! Then made a longer handle out of thicker Rowan yarn by chaining two other colours together.. I made the bow braid red too & accidently put it in the wrong place, but it actually looks pretty okay through the lilac, so left it!! Great wee pattern, might make a couple more..
