These crochet boots are worked with two strands of worsted weight yarn held together making these crochet slipper sturdy and toasty at the same time. Though the buttons are functional, I found that you can just slip in and out of the boot with ease even without opening the straps.
I used  4 skeins of Vanna’s choice for each pair of boots and still had some yarn left over.  This would be a stylish way to keep your feet warm!  I love boots and now I have one I can wear at home. I am still pondering which one to keep, the green or the gray. What other colors would you experiment with? Leave a comment below.

my lovely daughter found these and sends me a message "mom can you make these?" So now I have the pattern and will give it a go. Thanks. She also told her husband that she is helping me by trying to make a dent in my yarn stash in the extra bedroom

These are adorable but this website is not being friendly to me. I have added these to the cart to purchase the pattern but it is not taking to a place to buy the pattern, just a blank screen. Is there an easy way to buy the pattern?

Were you trying from a phone or a tablet? Please try from a pc or laptop and it should work.

I just finished making a pair of these for myself and a pair for my sister, and they are awesome! 🙂 But I was wondering, are they for indoor and outdoor use? Or just indoor use?

    • April 1, 2014 / 12:44 am

Hi there, just dying to buy this pattern but waiting to get paid =(
Trying to put a total price list together. Just wondering if you could tell me how much yarn is needed? If not it's cool. =) Can't wait to wrap a pair round my tootsies, as it's quite cold in Scotland.
    Absolutely love your design.

You will need around 600 Yards of worsted weight yarn for sizes Small, Medium and Large, and around 640 Yards for Extra Large. You
will need 4 skeins of 150/160 yards each as the pattern is worked with 2 strands held together.

Hi there, I'm a bit confused by the description of the pattern to be purchased. It is called 'snowboot' but I think this is different from the slipper boot. I would like to purchase the pattern for the slipper boot…is the pattern for purchase on this page the right one? Thanks very much, Jennie

    • June 30, 2014 / 5:26 pm

This pattern is for a Slipper Boots and meant to be worn indoors during winter to keep your feet warm.

I am trying to make this and keep having a horrid time lol… when I am just starting to come up off the sole and am putting the stitch marker in, should it be right in the absolute back of the heel? Mine is off to one side about 4-5 stiches from the center of heel

Love this pattern & my fabulous new slipper boots, but I've had a couple of requests for child sized ones. Any chance the child size pattern is available for purchase?

    • October 15, 2014 / 3:23 pm

I am planning on a child size pattern soon. Keep following my blog and facebook page.

Quick question, will these feel like I'm walking on knots? Every timd I make slippers they hurt my feet.

    • November 23, 2014 / 5:14 pm

Hi Cody, since they are made with two strands of yarn, they are very cushy and comfortable.
