After a long hiatus, I am excited to present my new boots pattern for this Fall. It is one of my favorite patterns to date. Well, I know I say that for pretty much all my patterns. This double layered idea actually originated in my head as fingerless mittens and then graduated to Boots. I must say, it looks far better as boots. Make them in a kaleidoscope of colors for the upcoming Winter. Wear them or gift them, I am sure you won’t disappoint the recipients.
Each size of this pattern has been tested thoroughly to ensure a proper fit. When I requested for testers, the response was overwhelming and I was spammed. A big thank you to all the testers for your valuable reviews and your assistance in making this pattern better.
- The pattern is written in Standard American Terms
- Pattern uses worsted weight yarn for the boot and DK weight yarn for the lacy layer.
- Pattern includes US sizes 5 to 10.
- You will need to know front post double crochet for this pattern. See my tutorial here: Front Post Double Crochet Tutorial

I haven't tested that size but you can try using a bigger hook.
