Dishcloths or washcloths are probably the first items a beginner crocheter would make. Make a few of them using this crochet pattern and you have an eco-friendly towel for all your kitchen cleaning purposes. Make them in different colors, say one for cleaning your dishes and one for cleaning your kitchen surface and so on. Take care to use 100% cotton yarn for good absorbency as well as that roughness that will leave your dishes squeaky clean.
