This is my fifth hat pattern and I am incredibly happy that it can be adapted for a boy as well. In the boy version, the visor is worked in a slightly different way. The flower on the girl’s hat is quick to work up and makes a stunning embellishment. If you are making it for a woman you can omit the flower and opt for wooden buttons instead. This hat will keep you warm and make a great photography prop as well. So choose your own colors and make it for every member of the family, young and old!
The pattern includes all sizes from Newborn to Adult.
It is written in standard American terms.
It has instructions for the girl and boy versions and the flower as well.
The pattern is worked in worsted weight yarn (size 4 medium), the UK equivalent of which is Aran.
It includes pictures of every step to make it easy for even beginners.
You need to know only the basic crochet stitches for this one and it works up really quick.
