Easy crochet washcloth pattern- star shaped.
This double crochet washcloth is a fun project that you can make as part of a spa kit or to wash your dishes. The front post stitches give it just the right amount of teeth.
There are options to work this up using worsted weight cotton or a DK weight cotton. You just have to work fewer rounds for the worsted weight version.
You can even make it bigger and sew two of them up to make a star pillow. I honestly have not tried it but am just thinking out loud here.

Why am I having issues with round 3? I have everything right from round 2 but if I do the fpdc then the 3 back loops I have 2 extra stitches, it makes no sense

What do you mean when you say DC in third loop of next stitch? Other than that, I understand pattern. Thanks!

The third loop is a horizontal loop behind your st. So you won't work into any of the normal loops of a stitch but into a loop behind it.
