Notes
1. To join a new color at the end of a row, start working your last dc as usual and when you have 2 loops left on your hook, pull through the new color.
2. Every time you switch colors, bring the new yarn attached to your left
3. Do not fasten off when you change colors but just drop the yarn to pick up later. The yarn will be carried along the sides and will get hidden when you work the border.
Rows 8 & 9: Repeat Rows 4 and 5 and join blue yarn at the end of Row 5.
Rows 10&11: With blue yarn, repeat Rows 6 and 7. Join back the peach color at the end of Row 7.

Blanket Border
Pattern Notes
1. All the rounds of the blanket are worked on the Right side of the blanket. The right side is the side you worked the dc rows on.
2. The first round of the blanket is a sc round that is worked along 3 sides of the blanket. This row does not extend across the foundation chain side as you started with a sc row.
3. While working the first row of sc, you should take care to work over the yarn strands running along the side of the blanket.
Row 1: Keep your blanket right side facing up. With F(3.75mm) hook, sl st to the right corner of the foundation chain side of your blanket, and work along the side of the blanket, 1 sc on the side of the first sc row, work total 3 sc sts across the side of each chain row and a dc row until you reach the top corner, 3 sc in the corner.
Continue to work along the last row of your blanket, 1 sc in each st and ch across to the next corner. Continue along the left side of the blanket working 3 sc sts across a chain row and a dc row until you reach the next corner at the foundation chain side, sl st to the first free loop on the foundation chain side. Do not turn.
Round 2: ch 1(does not count as a st), 1 sc in same st as ch 1, *(ch 3, sk 2 sts, 1 sc in next), repeat from * until you work chain loops all around the blanket, sl st to the first sc. Do not turn.
Round 3: 1 sc into next ch-3 loop, ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-3 loop, *(1 sc, ch 3, 3dc)all in next ch-3 loop, keep repeating from * until you work a repeat in the last ch-3 loop, sl st to first sc, fasten off.

I did not block it. If you want to block, you can look up Youtube videos on blocking acrylic yarn. I am glad you love my Gingham blanket. It is one of my favorites too. It is worth every minute you put into it.
