I love how this hat turned out. I am head over heels in love with the stitch pattern as well as the little details that make this hat oh so classy. I ordered a bunch of metal buttons to use with my projects and I couldn’t be happier. The hats look adorable on the little models and I am sure you will love it too.
You can stop at the brim and keep it as a Beanie or add the visor and turn it into a Newsboy hat. The Newsboy is my personal favorite and I think it looks very elegant. The fluorescent orange hat was made by my 10-year-old and she was elated to see it modeled. Her work is so neat, I am a proud mama. Another designer in the family maybe :).
* The pattern is written in Standard American terms.
* The pattern includes hats in sizes 6-12 months. 1-3 years, 3-10 years and Preteen to Woman
* The pattern uses Hooks I(5.5 mm) and H( 5 mm).
*Pattern uses Worsted weight yarn (size 4). I used Lionbrand Wool-Ease for gauge.
