Who wouldn’t love a crochet sweater pattern with oodles of texture? Introducing Vanessa Pullover in sizes XS to 2XL! You will love the oversized comfy fit.
This is one sweater you would want to lounge in all day. It doesn’t just look good but feels so toasty and comfy too. I did not want to get out of it once I tried it on.
THE CROCHET STITCH
The textured stitch is the easiest you will ever come across. It is such an effortless stitch pattern that it would undoubtedly be your perfect companion while watching your favorite TV shows.
The stitch pattern grows quickly and is very elastic just like a knit fabric. It is basically just a repeat of the same row.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The construction of this crochet sweater is pretty straightforward. The front and the back are worked separately with some neck shaping. There is no armhole shaping involved as this is a drop shoulder design.
The sleeves are made separately and then attached to the body. Seriously, this could be a great first sweater if you have never tried garments before.
The ease of the construction, the comfy fit, the textured stitch pattern- what is there not to like about this sweater?
THE YARN
This could be your chunky crochet sweater pattern not made with chunky yarn, haha! I used the gorgeous light worsted Wool-Ease yarn from Lionbrand.
The stitch pattern makes the sweater look chunky but without the added weight and price of a chunky sweater.
