Crochet Winter Headband- a simple pattern!
This is a very easy textured headband pattern that will make a great gift. They are also great for selling at fall or winter craft fairs.
The twist is achieved using a simple technique that I love. I might try this with a chunky yarn next. We will see how that turns out.
I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease for the winter headbands and found that it stretched quite a bit. So, the headbands look small when not worn but fit well on your head.

1. Worsted weight(size 4)yarn. Lion Brand Wool-Ease in colors Dark Rose Heather, Rose Heather, and Fisherman were used for the sample winter headbands.
2. An I(5.5mm) crochet hook.
3. Tapestry needle to weave in the ends.
Note: The headband has quite a bit of stretch to it and that has been taken into consideration while determining the size.
