This design won’t require you to be a crochet genius but will definitely put that precious curve on your little girl’s face. It works up really fast and can be added to your last minute gift ideas for this Christmas. Pattern uses Worsted weight yarn and Hooks I (5.5 mm) and G ( 4mm). An easy to work shape and simple embellishments give it that midas touch. Cute patterns don’t have to be hard at all, do they? It has a flower on one side and a bow tie on the other. Experiment with colors and make it your own. Changing the type of flower or adding a couple of leaves can also give it a new look.

I love this bag! I can't wait to make this for my niece once she is a bit older. Thanks for the great pattern!
Glad you liked it ! I guess I managed to post it just in time for Christmas 🙂
Love it, very cute!
Love this….I would like to make it for a grownup. How many stitches would I need to enlarge this?
I think you will have to chain extra 10 or 15 depending on how wide you want your base to be and add may be another 10 rows. I haven't tried this in bigger sizes, so it's just a guess that I am providing.
This bag is adorable, thanks for the pattern!
This is so cute! I have 8 great-nieces that will love it. Thanks so much for the pattern!

I am making the purse for my granddaughter. I am almost finished with it. I am not sure how to sew on the braided handles.
Thank you.
You can sew it using some yarn and yarn needle or even slip stitch them on.
i liked it, i will make one for my daughter
I am still somewhat new to crochet. I love this bag, but I am having trouble understanding what you mean in the instructions for the sides after chaining 2 at the beginning of each row: "hdc in same stitch as chain 2, hdc in next" Once I chain 2 and the row I am about to work on is facing me, am I hdc in the first or second chain from the hook? Also, why isn't the stitch count increasing with every row every time I do this? If I am crocheting into the chains I added, isn't the stitch count also increasing? Thanks for your help! I hope I can be successful with this!
My daughter lives in FL. I love this. I am going to make it longer so she can use it as a tote to go to the beach (where they live 90% of the time)
@Anonymous, You are not supposed to crochet into the chains. Crochet into the same st as chain 2 means you crochet into the first stitch you see. In this case ch 2 will not be counted as a stitch.
Soooo cute can't wait to crochet this for my daughter I'm sure she'll love it
