3. G (4mm) hook

Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across to end, turn. (26 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1 (counts as a sc), sk the first st at the base of the beginning ch, 1 sc in next st, * (1 spike sc in next st, 1 sc in next st), repeat from * to end. (12 spike sc+ 14 sc)
